Anti-Salmonella O:9 is a monospecific reagent used to determine the specific Salmonella O-antigens.
- Method: Slide agglutination. If the isolated strain has Salmonella antigen, within the range of the testing reagent, antigen-antibody reaction results in a visible agglutination. A negative result is reported in the absence of agglutination.
- Range: Salmonellae strains from O:9 (D)
- Composition: A mixture of monoclonal antibodies derived from the supernatant of the culture medium of hybridoma cell lines secreting antibodies against the group specific Salmonella O-antigen.
- Preservative: Sodium Azide (NaN3) 0.9mg/ml
- Form of the reagent: Liquid
- Storage: 2-8⁰C
