Gruber-Widal-Serum Anti-Coli O 2 is an anti serum used in confirmation test for the serological detection and serovar determination of isolated E. coli strains from human test material or other origin.
- Method: Slide agglutination and Widal reaction. If the isolated strain has E.coli antigen, within the range of the testing reagent, antigen-antibody reaction results in a visible agglutination. A negative result is reported in the absence of agglutination.
