SureFast® Salmonella Serotype 3plex is a real-time PCR kit for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control.
For DNA-preparation the use of SureFast® PREP Bacteria or SureFast® Speed PREP is recommended.
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of three fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm and 670 nm (FAM, VIC/HEX and Cy5) at the same time.
The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, BioRad CFX 96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer, Applied Biosystems 7500 and Qiagen RotorGene Q.
