The SureFast® Foodborne Pathogens 4plex is a real-time PCR for direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of Escherichia coli virulence factors (stx1 [subtype a-d], stx2 [subtype a-g] and eae), Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella spp.
Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm, 610 nm and 670 nm (FAM, VIC, ROX and Cy5) at the same time.
The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, Agilent AriaDx, BioRad CFX 96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II/ Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER and Applied Biosystems 7500.
For DNA-preparation the use of SureFast® PREP Bacteria is recommended.
